Ideas Festival

This fun, engaging festival will foster conversations beyond the campus and the public in ideas that are central to our world today. The annual event, will take place each autumn on Emory's Oxford College campus.

JOIN US FOR THE INAUGURAL IDEAS FESTIVAL!

September 20-22, 2024

In 2024, the three-day event will take place on the weekend of September 20, 21, and 22. The festival will include events for attendees of all ages, including special children’s programming and speakers from across the country.

Festival Structure

Speakers

Ideas Festival Emory will feature presenters from across the creative spectrum, including musicians, poets, chefs, filmmakers, scientists, artists, and authors. Presenters will delve into pressing contemporary matters while also discovering concepts that ignite curiosity.

Programming

The festival will also feature live music and children’s programming on the Oxford College quad, creating a welcoming, festive environment.

Activities

As part of CPSE's emphasis on breaking down barriers between the campus and the community, festival programming will emphasize fun and engagement. There will be food and beverage vendors, community partners, and a demonstration and activities tent throughout the festival grounds.
