Emory's Center for Public Scholarship and Engagement

Launching in 2024 on Emory University’s Oxford College campus, the Center for Public Scholarship and Engagement creates opportunities for Emory faculty, staff and students to share ideas, insights and inspiration with local and global audiences.

At the heart of the Center for Public Scholarship and Engagement’s mission is the belief that research should reach beyond the confines of academia to enrich and empower our broader community. Public scholarship is not just about disseminating information; it's about fostering meaningful connections between scholarly insights and the pressing issues shaping our world today. It is a bridge, presenting academic research and teaching in accessible yet nuanced ways, empowering non-experts to navigate the complexities of our global community.

CPSE Festival

This annual event, intended to foster conversations beyond the campus and to engage the public in ideas that are central to our world today, will take place each autumn on Emory's Oxford College campus. The 2024 Festival dates are Sept. 20-22.
